We raft 25kms of the
pristine Clearwater River and include some of the best whitewater
commercially run in oar/paddle rafts in British Columbia. Not only will
you run slammin’ whitewater like Sabretooth Canyon, S-Bends, Sharks
Tooth and the Triple Crown, to name just a few, but you will also join
us on a short hike to breathtaking Moul Falls in Wells Gray Park!
We include a hearty,
river side buffet lunch on a sandy beach that is guaranteed to fill your
adventure induced hunger. Our high trained and qualified guides will
keep you informed as you float down the spectacular river canyon in a
anticipation of the next section of wild whitewater!

Trip Itinerary:
9:00 am – meet at IWE operations centre to sign waivers and sort
out other queries.
9:30 am –
depart in shuttle vehicle with gear and guides.
10:15 am –
arrive at put in point where guides will prepare the equipment and you
will receive you raft gear, PFD and helmet and begin briefing. After
this, you will launch into then river and float down a calm section
where guides will provide you with paddle instruction and comprehensive
safety briefing.
11:15 am –
arrive at the confluence of Grouse Creek, disembark and guides will lead
you up to 150 ft Moul Falls. Follow the guides behind the falls and
perhaps through the ‘hurricane’ bellow!
12:30 pm - back
at the rafts, guides will prepare you for the river.
12:45 pm – run
through the renowned ‘Sabretooth’ Canyon while we document your
experience on film for later!
13:15 pm - Stop
at the beach for a river side buffet lunch.
14:00 pm – back
on the river for ‘digestion mile’. You will float for 30-45mins on calm
water where you swim, chat or just soak up the scenery and sun while the
guide keeps you informed and entertained.
14:45 pm –
enter the ‘Middle Canyon’. The single longest rapid on the river with
crashing roller-coaster waves. Finish off with a soaking in ‘Sharks
Tooth’ and ‘Shane’s Demise’.
15:15 pm – take
out above the ‘Kettle’. This a class5+/6 canyon that is too dangerous to
raft. We drive the rafts around and the guides will take you down to see
the spectacular maelstrom you will be avoiding!
15:45 pm – put
in on the Lower Canyon. 8km to go and some of the best rapids we have to
offer! Run the classics like ‘The Wall’, ‘M-87’, ‘Triple Crown’,
‘Buckaroo’ and ‘Pink Mountain’
17:00 pm –
Arrive at the take out, end of the trip.
17:15 pm – back
at the IWE office/operations centre. Take a look at your photos.
