Professional guides accompany you as you canoe across the pristine waters of Mahood Lake. You’ll camp along the sandy shores and enjoy delicious food and unparalleled ambiance. Once we reach the far end of the Lake, it’s time to ditch the canoes and head out on foot towards the Clearwater River. On the way, you travel along the remote Mahood river where you’ll encounter stunning vistas of Sylvia and Goodwyn falls. We are always keeping our eyes open to view Native pictographs that exist along canyon walls in the Mahood valley, dating back as far as 3000 years. By the end of the day you have reached your destination” The Mighty Clearwater” and the start of your whitewater adventure. This river is the culmination of an incredible concentration of waterfalls, rapids and chutes, probably the greatest in British Columbia. For the next two days you will be surrounded by towering canyon walls, spectacular waterfalls and experience some of the finest rafting the west has to offer. There is no other trip like this available in British Columbia.
